Salas campaign receives endorsement from Kings County Farm Bureau HANFORD – Assemblymember Rudy Salas has received the official endorsement for re-election to the 32nd Assembly District from the Kings County Farm Bureau (KCFB). “Assemblyman Salas understands our issues and seeks input before making decisions that impact agriculture. We are confident he will continue to work hard and advocate for the largest industry in the Valley.” said Dino Giacomazzi, President of the Kings County Farm Bureau.
“I am honored to receive the support of our local farmers and Ag community. These hard working families not only contribute to a critical part of our local and state economy but they feed the entire world. Our successful fight to keep Ag education for students, shows that by working together, we can make a difference for Valley families” said Salas.

Assemblyman Salas has championed agricultural causes for the Central Valley during his first term; including a heavy focus on fixing the state's water crisis and protecting funding for Ag education. Assemblyman Salas serves as Chair of the Regional Approaches to Addressing the Water Crisis committee. Assemblyman Salas has hosted several water hearings throughout his first term and has been a strong advocate for safe drinking water and additional water storage projects. Additionally, Asm. Salas is a joint author to the currently leading bi-partisan Water Bond effort in the Assembly. Recently, Assemblyman Salas celebrated victory for the campaign to #SaveFFA as $4.1 Million in funding for the AG Incentive Grant which was successfully reinstated in the State’s Fiscal Year Budget.

The Farm Bureau joins a long list of pro-agriculture supporters. Kings County Supervisors Doug Verboon, Tony Barba, Richard Fagundes, and Richard Valle. The Ag teachers from Hanford, Corcoran and Lemoore High Schools. Sheriff David Robinson. Other agriculture and small business associations join over 40 local elected officials in supporting Salas for re-election to the State Assembly.
